Meeting chaired by YBhg. Permanent Secretary, MUDNeR to defer excision of LACF and instead agreed with the implementation of Commercial Agroforestry. He conveyed YAB CM concerned that once the CF is excised, the land would not be the locals due to lack of capital and capability, thus the easy way out is to sell the land.

2nd Engagement with YAB Chief Minister where he approved for the LACFAP Masterplan with a budget of RM 5 million to implement the project and the model for the future NCR development. He futher requested that the project site to the Pilot R&D for testing drone in forest plantation development. Refer to note by DDG to DF

Forest Department letter to KPLARSB requesting to submit procurement process with dateline till 30 August 2019

FDS team led by DDF Jack Liam, LO Mohamad Mohaimin and Dawend Jiwan (Project Officer) meeting with SAG himself and his team. Decision made were: (i) to make amendment to Forest Ordinance, 2015 to insert agroforestry instead of domestic use inside Communal Forest and to include Carbon Offset project and definition; (ii) To proceed with issuance of Order to Koperasi Lubok Antu Reban Serian Bhd. After meeting YAB Chief Minister prior to tabling of Forest Ordinance amendment with terms and conditons. To study on the proposed joint venture agreement between KLASB and investors.
